Isaac RICH, farmer, Crawfordsville, was born in Randolph County, NC in 1812. In 1816 he went with his parents to Warren County, Ohio and lived there until 1834, when he settled in Montgomery County. He was once JP two years. He was married in 1833 to Emelia HALL. She died Aug 8, 1880, and was a member of the Methodist Church. They have two children, James and Nancy. The latter was married to Samuel IRWIN. He was a Republican and a Methodist and died in 1872, leaving four children: John, Isaac, Mary, Maggie. Mr. Isaac Rich has 225 acres of land and has given each of his children 80 acres. He is a Methodist, a strong Republican and a much respected old gentleman. kbz
